Questions to the Chief Executive Act
Title
1. This Act shall be cited as the Questions to the Chief Executive Act
Scope
2. This Act shall provide a framework for Members of the Legislature to receive information about the work of the Executive, thereby increasing transparency over the latter's actions
Timeline and obligations
3. Once a month, the Chair Potato shall open the business item of Questions to the Chief Executive
4. Once the Chair Potato has opened questions, Legislators may put forth questions about the work of the Executive for three days. After this period the Chair Potato shall close questions.
5. The Chief Executive must answer all questions no later than three days after questions have been closed. The Chief Executive need not answer a question if it meets one of the following criteria:
a) the question does not pertain to the business of the Executive
b) a publicised answer would be detrimental to the Security of Spiritus or a friendly region
c) the question pertains to a confidential matter, such as information received in confidence by a friendly government

6. The Chair Potato and Chief Executive shall agree on the date on which Questions to the Chief Executive shall be opened in any given month, so as to ensure the Chief Executive's availability.
Temporary Provisions
7. Questions to the Chief Executive shall be opened for the first time in the month after this Act came into force.
